Temperature Controlled Fan using Arduino

Description – Learn how to make a temperature-controlled Fan using Arduino Uno. This project uses LM 35 as the temperature sensor and the temperature is displayed on a 16*2 LCD screen.

LM35 is a 3-terminal IC that provides analog voltage proportional to the temperature. Higher the temperature, higher is the output voltage. The output analog voltage can be converted to digital form using ADC so that a microcontroller can process it.
The fan is connected to the Arduino board through a single channel relay module. Input pin of the relay is connected to digital pin 2 of the Arduino board.
When the temperature rises above a certain specified value (e.g 40 ⁰ C) the output level of the digital pin 2 is set high and the fan turns on.
