Raspberry Pi Controlled By Arduino UNO With Relay Shield.
I have been working on this Vidlooper project for a friend. I had the understanding the project would use physical switches. But they wanted to drive it with digital pins on an Arduino instead. I searched on the topic of Arduino communication with Raspberry Pi. The only articles I could find dealt with serial communication between the two. I not going to edit the Vidlooper code. So how can the Arduino digital pins act like a button? On the Raspberry Pi the buttons simply ground the GPIO pins 26, 19, 13 and 6 to play one of four videos in Vidlooper. I had the thought to use some cheap relays and they do work. I want to present a better finished product. So let's see how this Relay Shield with Optocoupler Isolation works in this scenario.
