In this video we'll make a miniature spinning LiDAR for under £30 ($40). It uses two VL53L0X TOF sensors to take distance readings and a small DC motor drives the rotating head. A Processing program is used to visualise the environment on the computer.
I'd like to develop this further but I'm quite happy with the initial results!
Sorry the audio quality is a bit poor, I was a little rushed with production and I really need to invest in a proper mic.
