What is Pulse Oximeter?
Pulse Oximeter is used to measure the oxygen level (oxygen saturation) of the blood. It is an easy measure of how well oxygen is being sent to parts of your body furthest from your heart, such as the arms and legs.

How does the Pulse Oximeter work?
During a Pulse Oximeter reading, a small clamp-like device is placed on a finger, earlobe, or toe. Small beams of light pass through the blood in the finger, measuring the amount of oxygen. It does this by measuring changes of light absorption in oxygenated or deoxygenated blood.

What is BPM(Beats per minute) or Heart Rate Sensor?
When the heart beats it pushes blood around the body. This heart beat can be felt as your 'pulse' on your wrist or neck. Your pulse is measured by counting the number of times your heart beats in one minute. For example, if your heart contracts 72 times in one minute, your pulse would be 72 beats per minute (BPM).
